Total Fire Solutions was founded in 1999 with a vision to create a 'one stop shop' fire protection company committed to NSW mining and heavy industry. To this day our company philosophy is 'do it once and do it right', a philosophy that is driven by people who are passionate, innovative and excited by the latest developments in technology.
Adhering to our core values as a family business has been a main driver of our company's success, and we have now grown into a team of more than 100 staff across six offices in regional NSW and Queensland.
Total Fire Solutions remains focused on supporting the mining industry. We aim to lessen the fire and associated risks confronting the world's largest mining equipment, and are doing so through supporting dozens of contracts which cement our reputation as providing leading, innovative and reliable fire protection solutions.
Equally important however, are our satellite divisions which have risen out of the need to offer Total Fire Solutions to the hundreds of mining service providers and contractors, as well as their thousands of customers. Our satellite divisions have been built from the ground up, and early on it became clear that the operation of these divisions differed from the ordinary operating needs associated with mining. Recognising these differences, we established a new structure where we could focus equally on the corporeal and managerial sides of our business offering.
Today, we are proud to say these satellite divisions are a significant contributor to Total Fire's overall success. Our commercial division, driven by our fire protection professionals, provide services to more than 4500 customers. We use skills learned in mining to quickly ramp up or scale down our major contracting divisions to meet our clients' needs, which includes multi-million dollar electrical and plumbing contracts.
As a result of the investment in our people and 20 years of hard work, the Ansul company ranks Total Fire Solutions as one of the top 3 independent distributors for the Asia Pacific region and we remain one of the largest privately owned mining specialists in the Pacific Rim. These are achievements that we are extremely proud of.
Not only am I proud of the success Total Fire Solutions has achieved to date, I remain inspired by the potential for what we may create tomorrow.
